Since around 2017, the Lord has highlighted the word, ‘Glory’ to me. It comes back time and time again and I have waited patiently for more to be revealed.
In December 2019, the Lord highlighted this phrase to me, ‘Lord, let your glory fall!’ I didn’t understand what it related to, but I noted it in my journal. I knew it would be revealed in time. It’s season would come.
‘Lord, let your glory fall!’
Shortly after, He led me to this passage:
‘When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it. When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshipped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, ‘He is good: His love endures forever”‘. 2 Chronicles 7:1-3
‘LORD LET YOUR GLORY FALL, as on that ancient day, songs of enduring love, and then Your glory came’ [Song: Let Your Glory Fall by Matt Redman]
A few days ago, in relation to all of the above, the Lord led me to this passage from the same chapter:
‘”When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land”‘. 2 Chronicles 7:13
Lord, let Your glory fall on this land! Healing and repentance. Gathering of the nations with one voice and one focus.
‘From the west, people will fear the name of the Lord, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere His glory. For He will come like a pent-up flood that the breath of the Lord drives along.
“The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins”, declares the Lord.
“As for me, this is my covenant with them”, says the Lord, “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants – from this time on and for ever”, says the Lord”‘. Isaiah 59:19-21
‘May His favor be upon you
And a thousand generations
And your family and your children
And their children, and their children
May His presence go before you
And behind you, and beside you
All around you, and within you
He is with you, He is with you
In the morning, in the evening
In your coming, and your going
In your weeping, and rejoicing
He is for you, He is for you’ [Song: The Blessing by Elevation Worship with Kari Jobe & Cody Carnes]
LORD, LET YOUR GLORY FALL, AS ON THAT ANCIENT DAY!
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn”. Isaiah 60:1-3
I believe the season has come. Passover began yesterday, the season for His glory to fall on the lands, has come.
‘Lord, let your glory fall, as on that ancient day, songs of enduring love, and then your glory came’
Come humbly before Him. Pray, pray, pray! Seek His face. Let the sound of your praise and worship fill the heavens and the earth.
‘Songs of enduring love, and then……’
