I started this blog in 2017. Since then, I have become a wife and a mother to two beautiful children. Why did I start this blog? I yearned to have a voice. I was surrounded by strong voices holding views of atheism, angry at a God they claimed did not exist. Confident voices, ready to debate and wanting this Christian girl to fight back. Did they yearn for the Truth deep down? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Either way, I wanted a space where I felt I could use my own voice, in a way that best fits a girl who prefers to write rather than speak.
Since the age of 11 I have journaled. A box full of hefty notepads, filled with my deepest thoughts, feelings, letters and prayers. When I look back through these personal diaries, I cannot deny the existence and intimate presence of God. I have experienced Him meeting me in my greatest challenges, speaking to me in the utter depths, guiding me step by step, and always, ALWAYS loving me.
Faith in action has definitely been an up-and-down-and-all-around journey for me, characterized by strength, weakness, hope, discouragement, assurance, doubt, frustration and everything in between. Through it all, God has never left my side. Ultimately I aim to be consistently ROOTED in faith. My faith in God is my assurance, hope, and foundation. It underpins all things.
Join me and gain insight into my own personal journey of Christian faith. Through writing and being very raw and transparent about my own life, I hope to deepen and share my knowledge of Jesus and His character.
I pray this blog is a strong voice for the God who will never leave our side, who loves us unconditionally, and who wants to have an intimate relationship with us.
